A wee cafe worth finding
We're an independent cafe hidden a few steps off the main city-centre streets, and half the fun is finding us. Once you're in, there's plenty of room to settle down over a proper Scottish breakfast, a homemade burger or one of our cakes.
Everything comes out fresh. The juice is squeezed to order, the soups are made in-house, and the kitchen is fully halal, so most folk find something they can tuck into. At weekends we serve breakfast right through the day, so there's no rush to be up with the lark.
Mostly, though, people come back for the welcome. Friendly staff, honest prices and food that tastes homemade because it is.

What our regulars say
“Went for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Asked for scottish breakfast. Looked great when it came. Haggis and black pudding were very tasty. Wasn't keen on the potato scone unfortunately as it tasted like it had been deep fried on old oil. Apart from the perfect. …”
via Google“the staff and the owner were both so lovely and sweet. everything is halal and they’re all so happy to help. the food was all fresh and delicious not to mention the fresh juice was 100% freshly squeezed. …”
via Google“Great food, friendly staff. Cant 'eat' atmosphere so gave it 5 because I don't want it to lose points. It's a cafe. Not a music venue. Love breakie all day at weekends! Thanks for a good experience”
via Google“This place is a really cute little find. My friend suggested we come here and I am glad we did. There’s lots of space for seating and a wide menu of reasonably priced food is also available. The breakfast was really lovely and the coffee was delicious. …”
via Google“Great food and coffee, reasonably priced and friendly efficient service. Some minor issues with the venue …. Steps leading down from the street were littered with rubbish and felt quite slippery (it was raining at the time). …”
via Google“Decided to look for this place after reading the reviews and wasn’t disappointed! Me and my mum had breakfast, which was delicious, then returned later in the afternoon for lunch.. …”
